Earning Exclusive Rewards In PoE Bestiary Challenge

Earning Exclusive Rewards In PoE Bestiary Challenge

Are you looking forward to PoE Bestiary League arrival? In the Bestiary League, you will have the option to complete 40 new challenges and earn exclusive microtransaction rewards! At 12, 24 and 36 challenges you will earn the Bestiary Helmet, Bestiary Wings and Bestiary Portal respectively. Completing challenges also grants you pieces of the Bestiary Totem Pole Hideout decoration.

Path of Exile

Before the arrival of the Bestiary League, do you have enough poe items? Please remember, do not left behind other players because of lack items. Let’s see other players different opinions about Bestiary Challenge rewards:

1. I liked the butt hole simply because it’s the first one that’s flat against the ground besides the silly Breach Portal effect, so it had that going for it at least.

2. It is good to be different, but it is kinda shit when it hides under millions of loot. I have lost count how many times I accidentally walk into that portal without knowing its there (because my party member open it).

3. That is the god – awful ugliest portal effect I’ve ever seen tbh. Looks like it’s made out of plastic hoses and vomit. Kind of into the dinosaur wings though.

4. Not excited about any of those 3 tbh. The portal is alright, but doesn’t fit my taste. Wings for 24 challenges is nice for newer players who don’t have any back attachment mtx yet, but they are no match for the demonic or the tentacle wings. The helm is fugly, but that’s ok for a 12 challenges reward.

5. We’ll see what the challenges consist of. The league challenges aren’t exactly like season’s journey – a lot of them have seemed to be out of the way and unfun. Maybe joining the league from the start I may be more willing to go for them, but having started playing again in the last month of Abyss, I didn’t really feel motivated to go for them. That portal does really cool though.

This league’s challenges follow a similar format to the ones you’re familiar with, so there should be no unexpected surprises there. You’ll be able to check them out when you jump into Bestiary League on March 2nd!

Effective Path Of Exile Lightning Trap Builds

Effective Path Of Exile Lightning Trap Builds

In Path of Exile, some players think of trying a lightning trap build, but need inspiration. You will pose a tremendous challenge if you are a first time, therefore, it is important for you to read the following article completely. Meanwhile, having more poe orbs, you will become more powerful in game.

1) Sunblast with 2x the reduced duration jewels (always forget jewelnames) are a option. Another one are 2 jewels with trap trigger area. I like those more since it doesn’t require the beltslot and they have decent trapdamage on top. Sunblast is a bit better for bosses with smaller hitboxes, at least for lightning trap.

2) If the trap triggers not off an enemy (duration ran out) the projectile rolls out in a random direction, can hit the boss or not. Lightning trap hits anyway. With a larger trigger area its more likely that the balls hit the boss, but in many cases not all traps trigger if the hitbox is too small.

3) Sunblast has shitty stats + 2 shitty jewels, but guarantees a procc which is good for any aoe/multi projectile trap or stuff like cremation. Any trap that triggers due this way does not generate power/frenzy charges with skilltree nodes or tinkerskin, nor tikerskins life/es gain.

4) Shimmeron wands deal 400 lightning dmg per sec (100 with 75 lightning res) per powercharge if you crit recently. With dual shimmeron, assassin and all charges on the tree thats 1800 lightning dmg after resists per sec without any mapmods that affect dots on you.

5) If you use a lightning warp or flame dash and hit anything you pretty much always crit. Traps (or mines/totems) are used to avoid the downside of shimmeron, but as soon as you use a movementskill, orb of storms or glove enchant proccs for excample it counts as your crit and the dot will wreck you. Only a quick logout saves you then.

6) In some cases using flame dash to bridge a gap is fine if no enemys are around you or the location. Shimmeron is great for dps, but using movementskills is often quicker and safer. For clearing a different weaponset is a good choice if you want, with assassins 100% more critchance against targets on full life you pretty much crit all the time anyway while mapping. For bosses shimmerons are beasts.

Useful Advice Of Using The More Rare Currency In PoE

Useful Advice Of Using The More Rare Currency In PoE

When I was new to PoE, I saved a few chaos orbs and alchemy orbs etc. When I got decent damage, and haven’t really encountered much difficulty, I would have some problems like this: could I start investing in gear from now or should I wait until later in the game to use my orbs? Is it generally better to save as much as you can as long as you’re doing fine?

I think this is a problem for most new players, they do not know where / when to use the more rare poe currency. So I hope the following suggestions will help these players.

Path of Exile

To add onto this, the poe orbs become more valuable the higher level content you’re doing, in a sense. Each item has an item level, and that determines how high the magic/rare affixes can be. So using an alch on a level 70 item can roll much higher numbers than a level 30 item.

Now, sometimes you’ll fall behind in damage or tankiness and you might have to craft some gear to keep pushing to the end game, but in general, you save up for late game, where you can get the really good stuff. Also, if you have a build planned out beforehand, don’t waste too much currency crafting gear that you know you’ll be replacing later.

During leveling:

  • Don’t buy rares to improve your gear, collect good 4l bases and use lowest tier essences to upgrade them to rare.
  • Save chaos, use it to buy gear once you hit 65.
  • Transmute white strongboxes you encounter unless they are arcanist gemcutter or carto.
  • Chisels for tier t13+ maps, if you can’t run those then just sell chisels for chaos.
  • Identify blue jewels, if they have 2 damage mods you can try to regal for third damage mod – such jewels can be sold for 15+ chaos.
  • Save scours and alchs for rolling maps. Yellow maps just alch and go, red maps alch and scour until you get 70+ quant.
  • Vaal – use on rare strongboxes (unless they are carto or arca) for a chance to get 6l.
  • Exalts & divines – save to buy good gear.

Another general principle in PoE is that it’s cheaper to buy poe items with the stats you need/want than it is to craft one. So yes, in general it’s better to save. Nothing wrong with tossing an Alch on a good base weapon when your current one is too low DPS though.
